“May you always walk in sunshine…”

“May you always walk in sunshine. May you never want for more. May Irish angels rest their wings right beside your door.”  – Irish Blessing

The sun doesn’t shine often in London, but last weekend was an exception and a much needed surprise. Needless to say, my chore list went out the window, and my flip flops went on my feet! Keith and I decided to venture to Hyde Park to check out the paddle boats and bask in the warm rays of fabulousness.

A short line and £16 later we had an hour to paddle around the lake. Keith spent most of the time taking pictures of the lake wildlife and relaxing, while I pretended that paddling around for an hour was the same amount of exercise as spin class.

My skin was thankful for the boost of Vitamin D, and I’m hoping for one more weekend of warmth before the winter weather sets in.

This weekend we head to Snowdonia, Wales with a few of Keith’s rugby teammates to climb up a mountain (yes, I’m going hiking!). It should be a very interesting weekend, to say the least.
